Spicy Coleslaw

Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons refrigerated extra-hot horseradish
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
4 cups finely chopped green cabbage
2 cups finely chopped red cabbage
1 cup shredded carrot
1/2 cup chopped red onion
3 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon seeded and chopped jalapeño pepper

Procedures
1 Whisk together first 11 ingredients in a small bowl until well blended.

2 Combine green cabbage and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Add mayonnaise mixture, and stir until well blended. Adjust seasonings to taste.
Cover and chill 1 hour before serving.
