Ingredients:
4 fillet steak
50g (2oz) butter (parve)
3tbsp red wine
1 onion, chopped
Olive oil
2 garlic clove, sliced
2 carrots, sliced thin
Thinly slice sweet potatoe
25g slices of black truffle
Rosemary Salt and pepper
Method:
- Melt the butter in a heavy pan and fry the steaks for 3 minutes each side.
- Heat the wine over the fire and pour over steaks.
- Transfer the steaks to a plate and cover to keep warm.
- Pan fry the onion with olive oil for about 2 minutes, then add the garlic, carrots and sweet potato mix and continue to fry for about 5 minutes.
- Add the rosemary, salt and pepper and the truffle slices mix well and put out the fire.
Serving:
On a large plate Place the steak and pour over and around the vegetable mixture
Add pepper to taste and garnish with rosemary
