Stuffed Scallop Casserole

1 1/2 lb. fresh scallops
2 cups herb stuffing mix
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. melted butter
1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. sugar

Wash scallops lightly in cold water. Set in a 8 inch square pan. Mix remaining ingredients well. Pour on top of scallops. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
