Swedish Meatballs
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 cup Onion, chopped very fine
3/4 cup Saltine Crackers, crushed fine
1-1/2 pounds Ground Beef
Mix all ingredients together in order given.
Preheat oil in frying pan over medium heat.
Using an cookie scoop, scoop out meatballs and roll in flour, shaking off
excess.
Brown meatballs in oil.
Place meatballs in a pan, adding enough water to cover the bottom of the
pan.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes, or until centers are heated through.
