Ingredients:
1 pre-rolled pate brisee or a recipe for a flaky crust
300 grams mirabelle, cut in half
80 grams butter
80 grams sugar
60 grams almonds, sliced
Preparation:
Place the crust in a pie pan, prick with a fork and bake for 5 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven. Remove and place the mirabelle inside.
Cook the butter and sugar until it caramelizes. Pour over the top of the mirabelle and scatter the almonds on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes in the 400 degree oven.
