The hunt for my perfect fettuccine alfredo!!!!

It is August 14 2012. After reading America’s Most Wanted Recipes, I type in the link, register and now I am here, telling my story. It all starts 6 years ago, when I’m seven. My cousin cooked me the best Alfredo I have ever tasted. I inquire, “where did you get this from?”. She replies, “The prepared food aisle, it’s chicken helper.” I’m marveled at the taste.Fast forward 1 month. After leaving my cousin (in another state) I venture to the prepared food aisle. It’s is not there. For several days, my taste buds are weak. No alfredo sauce caresses my tongue no longer. Then, I see hope. I go to an Italian place and I order my Alfredo. It’s not the same. One year later, I find myself cooking a new recipe of alfredo, once or twice a week. Bringing home a new box. All still not the same. Fast Forward to now. I am giving a plea looking for a recipe close to Chicken Helper’s Fettuccine Alfredo. Thank you for you time.

I have to clear the schedule for this week because this might be the key. I don’t think a person my age can handle this…

Alfredo’s are such a simple dish but for me they are soo hard to perfect. When do you add the cream, when the egg, how much cheese, do you add flour to the pan… I will give this recipe a try, thanks
