Thick burger Hot sauce

This is a thick hot sauce for burgers. I usually make 1/2 LB to 1 lb burgers on an Italian loaf bread buttered and grilled brown on both sides then topped with Swiss cheese and this sauce.

1 lb. ground sirloin (fine)
1 medium chopped onion chopped fine (more if desired)

Brown meat and onions together
Then add 1 Cup hot sauce
1 Cup Picante Sauce
1/4 cup Water
1 15oz. can tomato sauce
1 TB Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Red Pepper flakes crushed
10 tsp level ground pepper
Add pepper a little at a time
Taste as it cooks
