Tippin’s Cornbread

1 package Jiffy Golden Yellow Cake Mix
1 egg
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup butter melted
1 cup milk

Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease 2 8-inch pie pans or a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Combine the cake mix, egg, and cold water according to the package directions and mix well, being careful not to beat air into mixture.
Mix the rest of the ingredients and gently fold in cake batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned.
