Turkey And Stuffing Rolls

10 SLICES DELI-STYLE TURKEY (full slices not shaved)
1 box STOVE TOP CHICKEN OR TURKEY STUFFING MIX
1 can CHICKEN BROTH
1 medium ONION (chopped)
2 stalks CELERY (sliced)
1 medium APPLE (PREFERRIBLY GRANNY SMITH DICED)
1/4CUP finely chopped and roasted PECAN NUT MEATS
2 JARS HEINS TURKEY GRAVY
1/2STICK BUTTER
IN A SKILLET MELT THE BUTTER. WHEN BUTTER IS HOT ADD ONION AND CELERY TO IT AND SAUTE’ UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE SOFT. AT THE LAST ADD THE APPLES. SET ASIDE.
BRING TO BOIL THE CHICKEN BROTH, DUMP IN STUFFING MIX AND STIR WELL.
PUT LID ON POT AND SET ASIDE.
IN A HOT DRY SKILLET TOAST THE PECANS ABOUT 1 MINUTE STIRRING. SET ASIDE.
LAY YOUR TURKEY SLICES OUT ON A PIECE OF PLASTIC WRAP ON YOUR COUNTERTOP. PLACE A TURKEY SLICE IN FRONT OF YOU.
ADD NUTS AND VEGGIES + BUTTER IN SKILLET TO STUFFING AND STIR WELL.
SPOON SOME DRESSIN DOWN CENTER OF TURKEY SLICE. FOLD ONE SIDE OVER AND FOLD OTHER SIDE OVER IT. FLIP ROLL OVER SEAM SIDE DOWN. CONTINUE UNTIL YOU HAVE FILLED ALL THE TURKEY SLICES WITH DRESSING.
SPRAY A 13X9X2 INCH PAN OR GLASS BAKING DISH WITH NON-STICK SPRAY.
SPREAD REMAINING DRESSING OVER BOTTOM OF DISH. LAY YOUR TURKEY ROLLS SEAM SIDE DOWN ON DRESSING USING A SPATULA AND SLIPPING THEM OFF OF IT. WHEN ALL THE ROLLS ARE IN THE DISH, POUR GRAVY OVER ROLLS. COVER BAKING PAN OR DISH WITH FOIL AND BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 1 HOUR.
SERVE ROLLS ON PLATE WITH SOME MASHED POTATOES. SPOON GRAVY OVER POTATOES AND ROLLS. SERVE A VEGETABLE, SALAD AND ROLL WITH IT AND YOU WILL HAVE A NICE THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR 1 OR 2 PEOPLE WITHOUT A BUNCH OF LEFTOVERS FOR A WEEK OR MORE. YOU COULD PROBABLY GET 2 MEALS OUT OF THIS AND IT DOESN’T INVOLVE ALOT OF WORK.
WE HAVE MADE THIS OFTEN. TIP: I ADD 1 TSP. OF SOY SAUCE TO MY GRAVY BEFORE POURING OVER ROLLS.
