Flanders Provision Co., Inc., a Waycross, Ga., establishment, is voluntarily recalling approximately 900,000 pounds of frozen ground beef patties that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. Packaging brands include: Flanders, America’s Pride Beef, Value Time Beef and Grill Master Beef.
E. coli O157:H7 is a potentially deadly bacteria that can cause bloody diarrhea and dehydration. The very young, seniors and persons with weak immune systems are the most susceptible to food borne illness.
