We almost ALWAYS begin dinner with a nice bowl of hot soup.
Tonight we had soup, then my husband had salmon with a nice salad, (Romaine lettuce) and because I don’t like salmon unless it is poached, I had a small steak with salad, with crumbled bacon, leftover from brunch earlier today, and blue cheese dressing, and some shredded asiago cheese on top… By the way, I always like a pat of butter on my steak, as soon as it gets off the grill onto my plate. The butter melts nicely that way.
