What's for Dinner?

Spaghetti, Tossed Salad, Garlic Bread & Fruit

This is a standby meal for busy days at my house. It can be made with little or no fuss. When in a hurry, I use Ragu or some other premade sauce (noodles take hardly any time to cook) and a prepackaged salad mix with some extra add-ins (bean sprouts, water chestnuts, tomatoes, etc.). The garlic bread is simply french bread sliced and roasted garlic & butter spread on it and toasted under the broiler. A fresh fruit cup tops it off nicely. If we don’t have time to make, they have some relatively decent ones premade. In a pinch, I have used canned fruit cocktail with a little nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled over it. Works for us!
