Wholly Cow Cookies

1 cup (1/2 pound) butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking power
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 cups granola cereal (any flavor), blended to a powder
1 (4-oz) Hershey Chocolate Bar, grated
2/3 cup (4 oz) chocolate chips

Cream butter and both sugars together.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
In small bowl, mix together flour, salt,
baking powder and baking soda.

Using dough attachments, blend flour mixture
into creamed mixture.
Process or blend granola into a powder.
Stir granola powder and chocolate into dough.
Roll dough into 1 1/4-inch balls and place
2 inches apart on baking sheet.

Bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees F.

Recipe yields 55 to 60 cookies.
