We have a family cookout coming up this weekend. I plan on serving grilled pork and nectarine kabobs (recipe calls for peaches, but nectarines are on sale). If I cut the nectarines the morning of the party in order to prep the skewers, will the nectarines turn brown? If so, can I just toss them with some lemon juice to keep them fresh looking? Trying to prep as much in advance as possible so I can just enjoy my company.
