Williamsburg Bread Squares
2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls
2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg yolk
1 egg white
ground cinnamon and sugar
Press 1 package crescent rolls in the bottom of a greased jelly roll pan.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg yolk until well blended. Spread mixture over crescent roll layer. Lay the other package of crescent rolls on top. Slightly whip egg white and brush on crescent rolls. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Ater cools, cut into squares.
