Wilted Spinach Salad

A hot dressing stirred over spinach makes this a bit wilted. Excellent choice.

2 cups cut or torn spinach or Romaine lettuce, lightly packed

4 tsp white vinegar
2 tsp water
1 green onion, sliced (or 1/8 tsp onion powder)
1 bacon slice, cooked crisp then crumbled
1 tsp granulated sugar
salt, sprinkle
pepper, sprinkle

Hard-boiled egg, grated or finely chopped, for garnish

Place spinach in bowl.

Measure next 7 ingredients into small saucepan. Heat and stir until boiling. Pour over spinach. Stir well to wilt.

Sprinkle with grated egg. Serves 2.
