We have been making these for at least 25 years
22 1/2 oz brownie mix
1/3 cup hot tap water
1/3 cup oil
2-3oz pkgs cream cheese softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Heat oven to 350. Grease 9x13 pan. Blending filling ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Combine brownie ingredients in a large bowl, beating 50 strokes with a spoon. Spread half of brown batter in pan. Pour filling over this. Plate spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of filling. Marble by pulling knife through the batter in wide curves, then turn pan and repeat. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Don’t over bake. Cool. Refrigerate 1 hour before cutting. Cover tight and store in refrigerator.
